The team of Mary Cameron, Valmai Walker, Ann Punn, Lyn TerMaten, Isobel Benham and Fiona Board was triumphant by four sets to two over their Tynong opponents.
In section two, Lang Lang Black’s team of Irene Scales, Rosemary Kruzinga, Elaine Christenson, Carole Jones, Chris Grigg and Jenny Strybosch defeated Bunyip White by six sets to none.
The grand finals, hosted by Tynong Tennis Club on 29 November, wound up the 2006 competition.
