New year stabbing

A MAN was stabbed in Pakenham when a New Year’s Eve celebration turned sour.
Police said the 33yearold Werribee man had been at a party at a house in the Lakeside estate and was walking along The Parkway when he was confronted by a man who stabbed him in the arm.
The wound required stitches. Police said the incident took place just after midnight.
