Pacer perfect win for Lee

LONGWARRY trainer Lee Evison will be looking to the future with a great deal of excitement when it comes to his promising pacer, Ymbro Nif.
The daughter of Falcon Seelster created a big impression when she produced a determined display in defeating Staccato in the $25,000 final of the ‘The Lombo’ for twoyearold fillies at Shepparton on Saturday night.
Ymbro Nif was able to secure a good run behind Pee Tee Icon.
Driver Craig Demmler elected to ease Ymbro Nif around Pee Tee Icon on the point of the home turn.
Ymbro Nif and Staccato broke clear of the pack, and, with the race in the balance over the final stages, it came down to the last couple of strides before the winner was decided.
Ymbro Nif has only raced on two occasions, having run second in a qualifying heat of ‘The Lombo’ a week earlier.
