Laurie Harris (12) was the Agrade winner with 68 nett from runnerup Mick Lithgow (69).
Les Caldwell and Steve Davey were next, both on nett 70.
Bgrade winner was Craig Cottier (19) with 68 from runnerup Errol Hopkinson (70).
Jack Gough was next on 71, followed by Doug Scott (72).
Michael Sullivan (21) won Cgrade, also with 68, on a countback from runnerup Wayne English.
Ron Nocentinin was next in C grade with 72.
Nearest the pin: Second Craig Cottier, Fifth Doug Scott, 19th Frank Clebney, 23rd (pro pin) Bill Pyle.
Balls down the line went to 72 on a countback and the CCR was also 72.
AUSTRALIA DAY
A stableford competition was played on Australia Day and 36 players participated, enough for just one grade.
Brett Eastwell (12) was the winner with 41 points on a count back from Peter Andreason.
Wayne Carmody, Danny Shine and Gordon Warren were next with 40 points each.
Nearest the pin: Second Kevin O’Brien, 19th Glenn Flowers, 23rd (pro pin) Glenn Flowers.
The CCR was 70.
WEDNESDAY
The midweek Wednesday stableford event attracted a great field of 111 players.
Warragul visitor Simon McLennan (14) scored a fantastic 44 points to win Agrade.
Jason Stirzaker was unfortunate to be relegated to the runnerup position with his impressive 43 points.
Peter Devries was next on 40 followed by Cameron Snell (38) and Ivan Moffatt (38).
Neill Williams (16) blitzed the Bgrade field, winning with 42 points.
Stan Wellar was runnerup with 38 on a countback from Gordon Warren, John Denholm and Les Madden.
Mick Fox (30) was the Cgrade winner with a handy 41 points.
Damien Allison was runnerup with 40 on a countback from Ron Nocentini.
Peter Anderson and Alan Fagan were next with 39 points each.
Nearest the pin: 14th Hank VanDerVeen, 19th Sam Clebney, 23rd (pro pin) Bill Pyle.
The CCR was 71.
THURSDAY
A total of 58 players turned out for the senior ninehole event on Thursday.
Con Norris, Peter Downward and Bill Pyle tied in the men’s section with 21 points each.
Colin Moss, Doug Clark and Les Madden all returned with 20 points.
Wendy Hitchins was the ladies winner with 23 points.
Sue Hatfield, Teresa Kren and Anna Moffatt were next with 21 points each.
This Saturday is the February Monthly Medal.
