RESIDENTS wanting to know more about the Pakenham Bypass works have been encouraged to attend community information sessions next month.
VicRoads will hold a series of open sessions to provide the community with a chance to learn more about the $242 million project, due for completion by the end of 2007. Jointly funded by the State and Federal governments, the bypass is a 20kilometre fourlane freeway between the Princes Freeway at Beaconsfield and Nar Nar Goon Road at Nar Nar Goon. Sessions will be held at Cardinia Shire chambers in Henty Way, Pakenham, from 2pm to 5pm on 18 October and 5pm to 8pm on 19 October. A session will also be held at the Beaconsfield Community Complex between 2pm and 8pm on Thursday, 20 October.
