BERWICK Bowls Club’s VLBA ladies section numberone pennant side won a thrilling quarterfinal against Mulgrave at Mitcham on Tuesday, 6 March.
The topoftheladder team played a thrilling game and on the last end drew with Mulgrave on 87 shots each and played one more end to decide the winner.
Berwick won by two shots to the delight of its supporters.
The team went on to play in the semifinal against Glen EiraMcKinnon on Thursday, 8 March at Kew Heights, but lost the match with Berwick 80 to 103.
