Dwyer on par at Drouin

SHANE Dwyer was on his game at Drouin Golf Club on Saturday parring the course on his way to winning the Par event with plusfive, as well as Agrade.
Saturday was also the first round of the Autumn Amble Trophy and there were 106 players in the field.
Shane Dwyer (5) parred the course on his way to +5 and a win in A Grade.
Runner up in Agrade was Rod Hammond +4 on a countback from Paul Hopkinson and Fred Gajdobranski.
Craig Cottier won Bgrade with +3 on a countback from George Connor and Graham Rawson. Kevin O’Brien and Bill Mapleson were next both scoring +2.
Garth Quenault won Cgrade with +4 from runnerup Andrew Anderson +2 and Brian Kemp returned with +1.
Nearest the pins – second: Goran Danilov, fifth: Ron Nocentini, 23rd (pro pin): Eric Robbins.
Balls down the line went to +1 on a countback and the CCR was 71.

Drouin hosted the second leg of the Baw Baw Classic and a large field of 86 men and 43 ladies teed off in the Stableford event.

Tony Kelly had an eagle two on the usually difficult parfour 12th.
