Pair takes the points

IT was a good combination when Maxine Trickey and Mary Beruldsen took out the memberguest competition at Berwick Montuna Golf Club.
The event was part of the fourballbestball Stableford at the Charity Day held on Wednesday, March 14.
Maxine (handicap 28) is from Berwick Montuna and Mary Beruldsen (34) from Mirboo North scored 42.
The membermember winners were Carol Ronalds (29) and Glenda Gorton (30) with 44.
On Saturday, 17 March the winners in the 4BBB were Christine Hogan and Jackie Hogan with 44 points.
In the Stableford event on Sunday, 18 March, Sherrie Abel (26) won with a very good 40 points. The CCR was 68.
On Saturday, 24 March, Sherrie Abel (24) won the Stableford event with 35 points on a countback from Julie Linden (35) with 35 points. The CCR was 68.
Wendy Parkinson (20) won the Stableford event on Sunday, 25 March with 40 points on a countback from Jackie Hogan (31) with 40 points. Again the CCR was 68.
In the Women’s Golf Victoria Summer Series American Foursomes Stableford held on Sunday, 25 March the winners were Julie Percival (23) and Joyce Hammond (32) with 38 points on a count back from Louise Ford (18) and Melinda Wheeler (31) with 38 points.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:GOLF CLINICS FOR WOMEN

Berwick Montuna Golf Club will host a ‘Give Golf a Go’, day next Monday, 2 April.
It will be held at the club, but run by the Women’s Golf Association. There will be three beginners golf clinics run by professional golfers.
The clinic times are 9am to 10.30am, 10.30 to noon and noon to 1.30pm.
To register for a clinic phone Louise MacDonald at Women’s Golf on 9524 7606.
Golf equipment will be provided at no charge and players should dress comfortably with flat shoes.
