NEARY 3000 primary school students learnt ways to help preserve their environment through fun and handson activities related to the natural and cultural environments. They attended a City of Casey expo at Wilson Botanic Park, Berwick, on 20 and 21 March, which steered them through interactive lessons and demonstrations on environmental themes. These included waste management, solar energy, Aboriginal culture, biodiversity and water conservation.
