KIDS have a chance to learn from the best when Major League Baseball comes to Pakenham today (Wednesday).
Justin Huber, who plays for the San Diego Padres, will visit the Pakenham Pumas Baseball Club to assist with its school holiday clinic.
Those taking part will meet at the Children’s Services Centre at 9.30am before heading across to St Patrick’s Primary School’s oval for the clinic.
The centre is at 19 Princes Highway, Pakenham and the clinic is expected to finish around 10.30am.
The Pumas will also hold a ‘Come and Try Day’ on 1 March ahead of the winter tee-ball and baseball seasons.
The club is behind the Cardinia Life Aquatic and Stadium Centre in Toomuc Recreation Reserve.
The Pumas were recently awarded $3000 towards purchasing new playing tops and ground line-marking equipment.
