THE Hyperbaric Health Wound Centre located at St John of God, Berwick, has served the area for eight years and treated over 10,000 wounds.
The fully-trained and highly experienced doctors and nurses staff the unit and are 100 per cent committed to healing wounds to get people back to life.
The unit’s approach is a holistic approach to wound care that sometimes involves hyperbaric treatment.
The unit has a busy wound clinic attached to it and most of outdoor patients drop in a couple of times per week to have their dressings changed.
Many of the patients have non-healing diabetic wounds or wounds from radiation damage.
