BERWICK football fans had an early taste of Grand Final fever last week.
A replica of the AFL premiership cup was on display at Harris Freer Toyota as part of a tour promoting the great game. The 2005 Toyota AFL Grand Final Tour will travel for 35 days across NSW and Victoria, stopping at Toyota dealerships in various regional and metropolitan towns. The premiership cup is identical to that which will be held aloft by the captain of the premiership team at the MCG about 5 pm on Saturday, 24 September and is one of only two premiership cups made in the same cast as the ‘real’ Cup.
