Glenda’s a classic winner

AT the East Gippsland Classic held recently Glenda Gorton played extremely well to be the overall winner of the Bronze Division.
She overcame the windy conditions at Lakes Entrance on the Monday and then followed up at Bairnsdale on the Tuesday.
Glenda won both the gross and the nett scores in the Bronze 2 division.
This is now the third year in a row where Berwick Montuna ladies have won the event – Carol Ronalds, Gail Richards and now Glenda.

Berwick Montuna ladies held their annual charity day on Wednesday, March 11.
Funds raised on this highly enjoyable and successful day went to Dandenong Palliative Care.
In the 4BBB Stableford competition, Bev McIntyre (handicap 28, Berwick Montuna) and Donna Lee (handicap 34, Cranbourne) won with an amazing score of 54 points.
They were also the B-grade member-guest winners.
The A-grade member-guest winners were Gail Maloney (34, Berwick Montuna) and Gwen Wilmott (13, Eastern Sword) with 44 points.
The member-non handicap winners were Carol Hall (28, Berwick Montuna) and Lynda Vander Heide with an impressive score of 47 points.
