MORE than 175 children showed their artistic talents in the colouring competition that ran in the Wally Wombat Golden Trail at the Pakenham Show.
Mitre 10 Mega Store, Pakenham, ran the com-petition in the Wally Wombat showbag and were overwhelmed by the response.
Lisa Davidson, staff member at the Pakenham Mitre 10, said they looked for individuality when choosing the winners. “We chose the entries that had shown initiative, that were colourful and had extra details,” she said.
The major winner, Ryan Van Roy, won himself a plastic workbench with plenty of tools.
Five other entrants won themselves a toy work belt, and 10 others received a small gardening set.
All prizes were donated by the Pakenham store.
The colourings have been put up in the windows at the Mitre 10.
