ATTHE Berwick Senior Citizens meeting on 22 May, president Lorna Bird welcomed back the following members – Elsie and Jack Smith, Gwen Metz, Thelma Orovack, Betty Broderick and Win Robinson, Marion Cobbam was reported sick. Birthday greetings were sung to Enid Boyden and Vera Giles.
Door prizes went to Alice Haynes and Elsie Smith. The usual raffles went to Audrey Appleyard (meat tray) and Erika Albert (voucher). The meeting concluded with bingo.
Members are reminded that the club has tai chi classes at the clubrooms at 10am on Tuesdays and line dancing at 1.30pm the same day. On Thursday at 12.30pm there is old-time and new vogue dancing classes for all.
Members are reminded of the annual general meeting on Friday 17 July.
