Flexible touring

BROTHER and sister combination Joanne Staindl-Johnson and Gavin Boloski joined together last year to open Tour Local, a tour company specialising in the over 55 market.
Togethor with their mother, Elinor Boloski, Tour Local – The Can Do Tour Company prides itself on delivering friendly service that is flexible to the needs and wants of its clients.
Tour Local produces its own brochure of reasonably priced one-day and extended tours but also meets with groups who wish to have tours tailor-made for them, whether they are wishing to travel just within Victoria or beyond.
A trend that Joanne and Gavin have noticed in the few months that they have been operating is the swing towards groups just wanting to book for five, 10 or maybe 15 people on any one tour.
Joanne feels that this desire for clusters of people to travel rather than a group committing to their own tour of 35 to 40 has come out of tougher financial times. Fortunately with the can-do attitude of Tour Local this need can be easily accommodated.
Joanne encourages anyone who wishes to travel on a fun, friendly and value-packed coach tour to contact her on 5941 8800 or email on info@tourlocal.com.au.
“We always use excellent coaches with seasoned drivers; provide good food (including a homemade morning tea), and use a hostess, all factors that combine to ensure enjoyable times are had by all,” says proud owner Joanne.
“Just give us a call to experience the difference.”
