Witness appeal

POLICE are seeking witnesses to an assault near the Pakenham Hotel that resulted in a 25-year-old man being taken to Dandenong Hospital.
The incident occurred about 1am on Saturday.
Police said a group of unidentified people assaulted three men, including one taken by ambulance to the Dandenong Hospital with head injuries.
Police are urging witnesses to the assault, or those with information about a blue Ford Falcon sedan, to come forward.
Anyone with information can contact Pakenham police on 5945 2500.
