BEACONSFIELD Junior Football Club’s under-16, division-one team produced a goalscoring avalanche against Narre North Foxes at the weekend, the young Eagles winning by a massive 170 points.

Beaconsfield travelled to Hampton Park for the second time in a month and despite going down previously to the Redbacks by 14 goals, there was some optimism in the ranks.
Hampton Park came out and dominated the first quarter to take a five-goal advantage into the first break.
Beaconsfield struck back in the second to reduce the margin to three goals at the main change, but that was as close as they got as Hampton Park turned it on again in the third quarter to lead by 49 points at three-quarter time.
The Beaconsfield boys didn’t drop their heads and won the last quarter but it was a case of too little too late.

In perfect conditions at the senior ground, Beaconsfield started well and continued to play good team footy.
The game was played at a good pace and Beaconsfield showed plenty in an excellent team performance.

Beaconsfield visited Pakenham that started well, kicking the first three goals.
However, Beaconsfield came back in the second quarter and running hard through the middle got back into the game.
Both teams attacked the ball hard in the last half and put on a great game with Beaconsfield having a bit more run in their legs and going onto a tough 17-point win.
Ruckman James Paligorov was congratulated on his 50 consecutive games.

The Eagles welcomed new player Mitchell McKenzie into the team for the round-seven clash against Cranbourne and he did it in style.
With Brayden Humphrey booting four excellent goals, along with seven other individual goalkickers, Beaconsfield enjoyed a 59-point win.

Perfect conditions on Sunday saw a close and exciting game.

In a low-scoring game the Eagles kicked a late goal to grab a four-point win.
