All aboard for learning

CARDINIA’S young people will be able to hop aboard the council’s mobile youth bus for a range of fun activities these school holidays.
It will visit two different locations each Tuesday to Friday of the school holidays, providing free entertainment for young people aged 12 to 25.
Youth Outreach officers Kelly Hicks and James Oakley will be running activities and games in the areas near the bus.
“The bus even has scooters and skateboards the young people can borrow when the bus is stopped at townships near a skate park,” Ms Hicks said.
Townships the Mobile Youth Bus will visit in the first week of the holidays are: Tuesday 30 June Cockatoo and Emerald, Wednesday 1 July Garfield and Bunyip, Thursday 2 July Pakenham Skate Park and Pakenham Lakeside Estate, Friday 3 July Lang Lang and Kooweerup.
In the second week of the Holiday the Mobile Youth Bus will visit: Tuesday 8 July Gembrook and Maryknoll, Wednesday 8 July Cockatoo and Emerald, Thursday 9 July Lang Lang and Kooweerup and Friday 10 July Beaconsfield and Upper Beaconsfield.
