Beaconsfield was jumped in the first five minutes and tried hard to gain its composure for the rest of the match.
The Eagles’ backline applied good pressure to slow the Hills scoring opportunities, but the forward line missed many set shots in front of goals. The team never gave up.

Beaconsfield took on a very determined Cranbourne on Sunday at Cranbourne and after the loss to Berwick the previous week the team was determined to bounce back.
However due to some players out with flu, it made the task all the harder.
To Beaconsfield’s credit it held on for a hard-fought victory with some tough head-over-the-ball play and smart run.

Beaconsfield hosted Berwick at O’Neil Road.
Berwick bolted out of the blocks and got the jump on Beaconsfield to hold a slight lead in the first quarter.
After a tight first half where Berwick looked the better team, Beaconsfield finally started playing some good football in the third quarter, kicking five unanswered goals to set up a match-winning lead.
The last quarter was tough and tight and Berwick never gave up, but Beaconsfield held on to score a great three-goal win.

The round-nine clash of top against bottom was one of the toughest games that the young Eagles have had to face this season.
North Dandenong tackled hard and remained focused, throwing the Beaconsfield side off their mental game, but it came away with a 29-point win.

Beaconsfield started the game well against Fountain Gate and up to three-quarter time there was less than two kicks in it.
However, Beaconsfield couldn’t sustain the four-quarter pressure and let some easy goals in late in the game.
There were great individual efforts by Scott Triffit, Nathan Hopwood, Dan Coinu, Rhys Nelson, Josh Higgins and Jack Garwood.

The Eagles begin strongly against the Lions and the players’ teamwork and support for each other was outstanding and at half time had taken a 27-point lead.
The Lions put pressure on, but Beaconsfield held on for a great win.

The first quarter was very even with only three points in it, from there Beaconsfield kept Narre South from scoring a goal for two quarters.
Narre South Lions kicked two goals in the last quarter but the boys from Beaconsfield held on for a good win.
