MONASH University Berwick held open house to the public on Saturday 1 August to showcase study opportunities.
Parents and prospective students flocked to the campus at Clyde Road to hear from current students and university staff about what was on offer.
Part of the relaxed atmosphere involved stalls in the quadrangle and freedom for people to wander around to feel the ambience of the university.
This open house fits well with the community involvement policy adopted by the campus, especially in relationship to other schools, and the Berwick Village Chamber of Commerce.
This involves the opportunity for business and economic students to assist businesses with work projects.
The end result is that the business may receive a low-cost, professionally prepared business strategy and the student receives credits toward an associate degree.
