Bowling first the Bombers had to wait until the 12th over for the first wicket.
In the hot conditions the decision to bowl looked bad after they were 2/70, but then Julian Powell came into the attack and ripped through Catani’s bats.
With support from Chris Alenson they helped to dismiss Catani for 129. Powell picked up 6/50 off 13 overs and Alenson claimed 2/23 off seven.
Emerald then went out with 27 overs to bat and did well to be 3/68.
Lee Ligtermoet made 21, while Kieron Thoms batted patiently to be 24 not out.
