Nick Miles fell for 17 not long after tea and Nathan Lillee joined Ferrari and when the latter was dismissed for 37, Clyde was in deep trouble at 8/145 with 25 overs left.

Clyde played at home against Emerald Black and batted first.
Opening bat Patrick Harmes started well with 22 and Matt Venning played patiently for his 12.

The Cougars bowlers then toiled well without luck and Emerald ended the day just one run behind without the loss of a wicket.
