THE City of Casey has planned a wide range of activities for young people during National Youth Week from Friday 13 April.
Casey manager youth and community development Janette Green said this year Casey’s youth week was set to be the best ever.
“Youth week in Casey is bursting with things for young people, and will be officially kicked off at a massive Fringe Fest FReeZA gig on Friday night, 13 April 2007 in the Cranbourne Hall,” she said.
“A large committee of young volunteers has been working hard with our youth services team on an amazing range of activities and events.
“There is something for everyone, and some stand out events include Fringe Fest, a talent show, computer game challenge and arts competition.
“Whether it’s listening to great bands or showcasing your own singing, performing, artwork or computer game skills — be a part of National Youth Week in Casey.
“National Youth Week celebrates the contributions that young people make to the community, and how they help make Casey such a great place to live.”
