KEEPING elderly people in their own home is part of the focus on the Commonwealth Government’s Home and Community Care (HACC) program funding for the City of Casey.
La Trobe MP Jason Wood said Casey would receive $50,000 for minor capital works and $237,484 for expansion of domestic assistance in HACC services.
He said this would allow frail aged people and young people with disabilities to remain in their own homes with the support of their families.
