Local Dancer harnesses win

TALENTED local Pepperell Dancer won his sixth race for the year at Geelong last Saturday night.
A winner at Warragul last Friday week, he came from midfield to win at Geelong as a 7/1 chance.
Pepperell Dancer is one of several consistent horses from the Kooweerup stable of Daryl Woolcock.
From his past 11 starts, Pepperell Dancer has netted four wins and six minor placings. In three starts since returning from a freshen up over winter, he has recorded two wins and a second.
All going well, Pepperell Dancer will race in metropolitan company at Moonee Valley this Saturday night, a good test for a horse in good form.
Last Saturday’s victory now makes him eligible for country cup races, such as the Eddie Evison Memorial Trotters Cup at Warragul in February.
