Open day success

THERE were visitors galore at Berwick Montuna Golf Club’s open day on 13 November, described as a great success. Up to 60 players took part with the winners from Beaconhills Country Golf Club Ros Harding (handicap 18) and Noeleen King (40) with 44 Stableford points.
Runnersup were Jean Wheatley (30) and Deb Holland (35) on 43 points also from Beaconhills.
Nearest the pins 13th: Karen Naylor (Cerberus) and 18th: Jeni Robinson (Eastern Sward).
Longest drives were, guest Marilyn Ford (Beaconhills) and member Eunice Dickenson. In the Stableford on Saturday, 11 November the winner was Rose Stewart (23) with 38 points.
