Oxfam seeks donations for stall

THE Berwick branch of Oxfam will hold a stall in High Street, Berwick, from 8.30am to 12.30pm on Friday 19 May.
Homemade cakes and biscuits, jams and marmalade, plants, books, plus Fairtrade tea and coffee will be on sale. Coordinator Brenda Miller said donations of goods for the stall would be gratefully received.
“We will supply information and plastic bags and labels for baked goods.”
A Glo Edkins painting will also be raffled.
Oxfam raised $1500 from its sausage sizzle at Bunnings Fountain Gate on Easter Saturday and that plus $1000 raised from an Oxfam dinner will go toward East Timor nutrition and the Africa food crisis.
The next Oxfam meeting will be held at 7 Inglis Road, Berwick, on Monday 5 June. Details from Brenda Miller on 9707 2180.
