RED Cross Australia has presented Narre Warren Red Cross member Margaret Robinson with a 60year service award.
Red Cross manager of member services Nola Peacock made the presentation to Mrs Robinson during the unit’s annual meeting on Thursday, 5 October.
Ms Peacock said the gilt rosette presented to Mrs Robinson was designed to be set in the laurel wreath already held for 50 years service.
Mrs Robinson said she could not believe she had been a member of Red Cross for 60 years.
“I doubt that I will see another 60.
“I wish to thank all my friends in Red Cross, particularly for their kindness.”
