ROC rolls on court

ROC Netball Club’s Agrade team fought back in the second half for a fivegoal win against Berwick in round eight at the weekend.
Berwick was thanked for a great hardfought game.
Scores: ROC 56 d Berwick 51.

B GRADE

In a tough game ROC’s defence played well creating many turnovers, but the team was unable to capitalise on them.
The attack fed the ball well into the goalers that shot well throughout the game.
Scores: ROC 46 lost to Berwick 48.

C GRADE

ROC began the game well with Rebecca Luxford and Georgia Dawson working well in defence. The midcourt played well with nice passes into goals. With some major changes in the last quarter, the attack was able to finish strongly.
Scores: ROC 25 lost to Berwick 43.

UNDER 17

ROC started well in the first quarter, with all players showing great determination. The ball movement down the court showed the major improvement of the team this year.
Scores: ROC 18 lost to Berwick 38.

UNDER 15

A great team effort by ROC. In the second quarter the team displayed excellent teamwork and the defensive pressure down the court provided many opportunities in attack.
Score: ROC 16 lost to Berwick 37.

UNDER 13

ROC played well, however struggled to maintain momentum against a stronger Berwick side.
Scores: ROC 5 lost to Berwick 43.
