What the judges want

THE next get together of the Berwick and District Garden Club Inc. will be held on Tuesday, 21 February at 8pm at Wilson Botanic Park.
Guest speakers Sadie Kirkham and Dorothy Ashcroft will speak on judges’ expectations of exhibits of horticultural shows and the club’s monthly exhibits.
This month’s special is one rose and one dahlia.
Floral art: An arrangement using wood or bark with flowers.
The Christmas celebration at the park was excellent and thanks to all who helped make it enjoyable.
Julie’s straws were once again winners and Dorothy’s green thumb prizes were happily received, as were all prizes on the night.
Lucky door tickets provided three extra winners.
Audrey’s red cloths, which she has generously donated to the club, added a festive note and the view out to the rose garden was magnificent.
Anne and Gayle Savige collected gardening tips for their proposed booklet and hopefully more tips will be collected.
