I HAVE mentioned shelterboxes before, but just a reminder that Rotary District 9820 has provided 1500 shelterboxes costing $1.5 million since the program began in Australia during 2000.
Shelterboxes are simple enough –designed to provide shelter for 10 people for six months, and in fact they last at times much longer.
They are packed and ready to go immediately disaster hits in any part of the world. Shelterbox is a Rotary global humanitarian relief project that provides immediate shelter and warmth to people in disasters.
