Berwick bowlers strong

WITH only two club round matches to play for the season, Berwick Bowling Club is in a strong position approaching the pennant finals.
Four of the club’s sides sit on top of their respective ladders, and two other sides are placed second and third.
At this stage of the season it looks safe to assume that Berwick will have six of its eight competing Royal Victorian Bowls Association RVBA sides competing in pennant finals.
The number six side still has a chance of a spot in the final four, which would then mean a possible seven sides in the finals –an outstanding effort by the club.
