Pakenham wins easily

THERE was no Agrade game on Saturday when Pakenham travelled to Hampton Park but there were good wins in all other grades.

B GRADE

Pakenham played a great wetweather game against Hampton Park. Keeping possession down court and working the ball into the ring. Lauren Goldsworthy and Mel Tozer shot well from a distance. Once the centre court opened up the ball flowed well and Pakenham’s defenders played an excellent game.
Scores: Pakenham 51 d Hampton Park 19.
Awards: Bubba Pizza Mel Tozer, Cactus Black Lauren Goldsworthy.

C GRADE

The first quarter was slow because of the different positions for the team but everyone adjusted well and played a great game.
Scores: Pakenham 31 d Hampton Park 18.

17 AND UNDER

The wet conditions forced Pakenham to adapt and play short netball. The defenders are showing great improvement each and every week and should be proud.
Scores: Pakenham 50 d Hampton Park 8.
Awards: Aleisha Taurua, Brianna Osmond, Cassie Bridgett.

15 AND UNDER

Pakenham enjoyed playing in different positions and had fun but were still able to win well.
Scores: Pakenham 43 d Hampton Park 5.

13 AND UNDER

On a good day to practice wetweather play and with players in different positions everyone adjusted and enjoyed a friendly game against Hampton Park.
Scores: Pakenham 32 d Hampton Park 1.
