A COURT case to hear allegations that Cardinia Shire councillor Bill Ronald assaulted the council’s chief executive officer, Don Welsh, has been adjourned until 4 October.
Cr Ronald was due to appear in Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 31 August but the hearing was adjourned.
Police charged Cr Ronald with assault after an incident involving he and Mr Welsh in Melbourne earlier this year.
