CARDINIA councillors observed a minute’s silence in honour of Peter Brock and Steve Irwin at their meeting on Monday.
Mayor Bill Ronald said Mr Brock in particular was a great friend of the many motorsports enthusiasts in the community.
Cr Ronald said Mr Brock had supported a number of motorsportsrelated events in Cardinia Shire.
“He was an inspiration to all,” he said.
