Brookers in the hunt

GEMBROOK played Beaconsfield at home in a C-grade game shaping up for a close finish this week.

He was assisted by Grant Whytcross who also bowled brilliantly with 3/21 and Rick Atkinson took 2/31.

The Brookers then had 18 overs at the crease and at stumps were 2/28.
