THE Pakenham Bypass is on schedule to be finished in late 2007.
VicRoads officials told local traders on Monday the $242 million project was on time.
The work will result in a 20kilometre fourlane road between Beaconsfield and Nar Nar Goon.
Project officer Brendan Pauwels said the dry weather had helped excavation works throughout winter and spring.
