COCKATOO CFA is geared up for what may be a long hot summer.
“All we’ve heard is dry, hot and not much rain,” Cockatoo CFA captain Steve Cameron said of the summer forecast.
He has urged all residents to make sure they are prepared by cleaning up around their properties.
“Ask everyone to clean up before the fire does is the CFA campaign,” he said.
The Cockatoo CFA’s main priority is to be prepared.
It is yet to be determined when the official fire season will end.
