The Goon wins at home

NAR Nar Goon Netball Club celebrated its last home games against NilmaDarnum on Saturday with five out of six wins.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz: A GRADE

It was a great game for spectators game with both sides showing great skills with very accurate shooting.
Nar Nar Goon had a very strong third quarter that gave it a comfortable lead.
The last quarter was very even and proved that both sides will make for exciting finals.
Nar Nar Goon produced an excellent team effort and showed versatility with the many changes made throughout the game.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:B GRADE

A very close hard contest saw Nar Nar Goon win in the final term by four goals.
NilmaDarnum was a very strong team and Nar Nar Goon did well to win the game in the final stages.
Prue Evans played a strong game in goals against tough defenders and Julia McPhee also played well in centre and wing attack.
Scores: Nar Nar Goon 48 d NilmaDarnum 44.
Best – Nar Nar Goon: Julia McPhee and Prue Evans.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz: C GRADE

Nar Nar Goon tried hard all game with some great defensive work down the court, but was outclassed by a stronger NilmaDarnum team.
All the girls played with great enthusiasm, even against a stronger team.
Best on court for Nar Nar Goon was awarded to Bianca Lowen for her effort in goals and Meaghan Douglas was thanked for filling in.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz: 17 AND UNDER

Nar Nar Goon played a strong team game to down NilmaDarnum by 31 goals.
The team was strong at both ends of the court, defensively taking many intercepts, while Prue Evans goaled accurately at the other end.
Ashlee Dore in centre and Haley Dore in goalkeeper came up from 15 and unders to help out and played a great game.
Scores: Nar Nar Goon 52 d NilmaDarnum 21.

Nar Nar Goon had an emphatic return to form this week exhibiting their strongest and most skilful gam against Nilma. The defence all over the court was tight but it was the goalers Meaghan Douglas and Ashlee Dore who really stood out for their movement, passing and accuracy.
Scores: Nar Nar Goon 64 d Nilma Darnum 7.
Best player award: Ashlee Dore.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz: 13 AND UNDER

Nar Nar Goon played a great defensive game and worked hard all day on it system.
There was excellent talking from Ruby Riley and Kate Hughes goaled with accuracy.
