Candlelight union

A CANDLELIGHTING ceremony to symbolise the union of their marriage and the joining of their families was a highlight at the wedding of Tammie Bultreys and Terry Jarvis on Saturday, 25 March.
Tammie, the only child of Annette Bultreys of Ferntree Gully and Terry, son of Rose and Terry Jarvis of Wheelers Hill, were married by Albert Otten in a service complemented by entry music, ‘I’ve Finally Found Someone’ and exit music ‘I’m Alive’.
‘Lovers Concerto’ and ‘Have I Told You Lately’ entertained guests during the signing ceremony.
The bride looked stunning in a white gown with fitted bodice with shoestring straps and large hoop under the base of the gown.
Embroidery on the back and front featured beads the same aqua colour as the bridesmaids dresses as the centre of embroidered flowers.
Tammie wore her mother’s veil which featured pearls in the middle of embroidered flowers.
A bouquet of light pink and cream roses with white oriental lilies set off the gown to perfection and was repeated in a smaller version for the bridesmaids’ bouquets.
Maid of honour Christina Davis and bridesmaid Kathryn Barron wore aqua dresses with a flared skirt and strapless bodice. The bride’s cousin, Stephanie was flowergirl in an offwhite long dress.
The groom was attended by best man Rui Coelho, groomsman Jason Clymo and pageboy Jordan Weaver, a nephew of the groom.
The men wore black suits and white shirts with silver neckwear and aqua for the attendants. Jordan matched the groom with black suit, white shirt and silver accessories.
At the reception at Amberlee Receptions, the bride and groom performed a choreographed bridal rumba to the delight of guests.
Tammie and Terry are living in Ferntree Gully after honeymooning on the Gold Coast.
