In a tight tussle for the full 80 overs at the Beaconsfield ground, Devon Meadows was restricted to 9/239.
The visitors started well reaching 1/110 at tea, with a total near 300 a real possibility.
After tea the Beaconsfield bowlers managed to restrict the Devon Meadows scoring, eventually capturing the last eight wickets for 100 runs.
Best of the bowlers were Ryan O’Connor with 4/48 from his 24 overs and was well supported by Gus Patti with 2/44.
Troy McDermott, Jack Benbow and Jason Dodd each finished with a wicket.

After losing the toss, Beaconsfield was sent in to bat and got off to a shaky start.
Pakenham UpperToomuc captured early wickets to have Beaconsfield at 3/21.
Steve Glen was the only toporder batsman to get runs with a solid 42.
The middle order held up better with Andrew Jones reaching 28 and Matt Ravenhall 17.
Again the wickets fell and at 9/123, Geoff Bliss and Paul Benbow came together for a 68run final wicket partnership.
Bliss finished with 34 and Benbow 32 to give Beaconsfield a solid total to defend this week.

Facing the strong Kooweerup batting line up, Beaconsfield bowled well to dismiss it for 122.
Dave Lennon led the charge with 4/28. Ross Mitchell was the other multiple wickettaker with 2/10 and Jamie Ingham, Andrew Mercier and Greg Butler each got one scalp.
In reply Beaconsfield reached 1/28 with Mercier on nine and Ross Mitchell on eight.

Playing Nyora, Beaconsfield batted almost the entire day to reach 171. Veteran Wayne Holden top scored with 43 and was followed closely by junior Alex Benbow with 35.
David Green, Rob Young and Steve Grindy all reached scores in the teens to help boost the total.

Batting first Kooweerup reached 189.
Captain John Martin bowled well to snare 5/71. Josh Bruneau (2/14), Bevan Pitcher (2/27) and Joe McMaster (1/33) were the other successful bowlers.
In reply Beaconsfield suffered early losses and limped to 6/30 at stumps. Brent Andrews is the current highest scorer with eight.

Batting first against KilcundaBass, Beaconsfield crashed to be 5/3 early in its innings before finally being all out for 70. Damien Johnston top scored with 30 and the only other player to reach double figures was Greg Tomamichel.
In reply KilcundaBass made 5/116. James Johnston bowled well to return 2/32. Jade Osborne took 2/6 and Jarrod Madden 1/15.

Two young under13 players, Xavier Patti and Jack Opteynde filled in and batted well. Beaconsfield is still looking for more under17 players for the season.
