BOXED sets of liqueurs were part of a haul of goods stolen from an Emerald home on the weekend.
Cash, a DVD player and sunglasses with a total value of $4000 were also stolen from the twostorey house in Pinnocks Road.
Police said the householder went to collect his newspaper on Saturday morning and startled a young man inside the garage of his home. The young man, believed to be aged in his teens, ran away.
Police said the suspect, wearing dark clothing and a black beanie, had broken in, smashing a window to get into the garage. Anybody with information is urged to contact police on 5945 2500.
