IT was yellow, yellow, yellow at Bunyip Primary School last Tuesday with children getting into the spirit of the Safety House program.
Children dressed in yellow clothing and paraded around the school before they enjoyed a special lunch. The bestdressed children received prizes and students also guessed the amount of lollies in a jar.
Safety House executive director Daryl Shatte brought a special friend — the Safety House mascot — to meet children. The Bunyip Safety House program was established in 1993 to promote safety in the community. There are 29 houses and two businesses carrying the Safety House banner around the town.
