Drink in alcohol information

CASEY Council will hold a free forum to provide the latest information on liquor licensing requirements for winter season sports clubs.
The forum will be held at 7pm on Monday, 6 March.
Casey mayor Kevin Bradford said there was a range of legal and social requirements that sports clubs and organisers needed to understand in regards to the responsible and legal serving of alcohol.
Cr Bradford said even the most experienced of club administrators would benefit from the information.
He said discussion would cover important information on special sections of liquor licenses, including booth licenses for liquor supplied at point of sale during a sporting event, trading hours for supply on club premises, and approvals/consents.
“The forum will provide participants with the knowledge and necessary information on the club and members’ responsibilities as a liquor licensee to ensure a safe and responsible winter season of sport within Casey,” Cr Bradford said.
For a copy of the registration form or for more information on the winter season sports club liquor licensing forum contact Brett Osler on 9705 5200.
