PAKENHAM UpperToomuc’s women’s side travelled to Box Hill on Sunday and won a nailbiter.
Box Hill opened the batting and set a target of 7/163 with some great catching again from the Yabbies along with some solid fielding. Wickets went to J. Perri 1/19, K. Alaimo 1/28, N. Brice 1/24 and E. Storer 3/15.
A good early partnership between A. Littlejohn (17) and L. Perri (43) helped the Yabbies consolidate before wickets fell. A fast 27 to E. Storer and plenty of quick singles to other batters saw the Yabbies finish at 9/165 and celebrate a muchdeserved victory.
