PAKENHAM Golf Club’s Stojko Kresojevic ran hot in the heat on Saturday to win the par competition with an excellent plusseven.
Ray Hewitt +5 was the Bgrade winner and Cgrade went to Vince Del Nigro with +3.
The CCR was 70.

Nearest the pin on the golf shop second hole went to Graeme Steel and Shane Wilkinson won the Pakenham Subway fifth hole.
Stojko Kresojevic was the winner of the Dante’s Woodfired Pizza eighth hole and Scott Milnes took out the Hungry Jack’s 14th.
The Pakenham Pizza 16th hole was won by David Horne and Neville Taylor was the winner of the B.M.R. Autos second shot on the sixth.
Scott Milnes had an eagle on the 11th to win the Pinnacle ‘Eagles Nest’
The B.M.R. Autos Agrade longest drive went to Grant McKay and Bgrade was won by Rodney Whitehead.
The McIntyre Painting Cgrade longest drive went to Michael Burns.
Raffle winners were David Horne and Vilie Koroknai.
COMING EVENTS
Next Saturday is the January monthly medal sponsored by Les and Kay Jones from Cignall, Berwick.
The Pakenham Golf Club opening day – a Mixed Canadian event followed by a barbecue will be held on Sunday 14 January. Hitoff is 12.30pm.
The following Saturday (20 January) is a fourballbestball Stableford day with guests welcome and the following week is the Australia Day weekend.
A twoday event will be held on the Friday and Saturday as well as the normal day events.

MONDAY RESULTS
The first day of 2007 attracted 30 players for a Stableford round.
Jack Munro came in with a creditable 41 points to win from Robert Morley, 39 on a countback.
Down the lines went to Nik Hock 39, Vilie Koroknai 38, Phil Barling 37 and Martin Spurway 36.
Nearest the pin on the eighth was won by Heath Barclay and the 14th went to Rod Cameron.
WEDNESDAY RESULTS
The field for the morning Stableford competition was large and winner with 44 points was Keith Massey from Martin Spurway 43 and Eric Butcher 42.
Next came two visitors in Mick Neylan and Chris Templeman with 40 points, followed by Robert Wedlock 40, Graeme Steel 39, Max Cole 39, B Nutton 39, Peter Wigney 38, Denby Coggan 38, Ron Seamer 38, Scott Hooper 38 and George Coffey 38.
Michael Davey was the winner of the nearest the pin on the second hole and Andrew Wraight took out the eighth. The 14th was won by Greg Roberts.
TWILIGHT RESULTS
More than 120 players took part in the first twilight competition for 2007 on a warm and humid evening.
The social winner was Craig McGrath with 20 points and the meat raffle winner was Kay and Les Jones.
Front nine
Martin Spurway is playing some excellent golf, as he has been in the winner’s circle all this week, culminating in winning the twilight front nine with 24 points.
Rob Morley came in with 22 to win the meal voucher.
Downtheline balls went to Marie Trickey 21, Scott Gavenlock 20, Maurice Rossetti 20, Stephen Mack 19, Rob Wedlock 18, Paul Hobson 18, Yvonne Barrot 18, Danny McMinimee 18, Scott Phillips 17 and Rod Cameron 17.
Nearest the pin, second shot on the seventh, was won by Kevin Sander.
Back nine
Martin Spurway was also the winner of the back nine with 25 points from Keith Massey with 23 points on a countback.
Martin completed 27 holes on Wednesday, playing 18 holes in the morning and then another nine holes in the afternoon.
