MidGippsland junior badminton

DROUIN won a close game to take out the Agrade grand final last weekend, downing Warragul Red by six aces.
The closest of result was in E grade, with only one ace separating the teams. After winning all their games throughout the season, the Bayles team came second to its main rival Ellinbank.
At the presentation the Tom Bibby Trophy, for the club with the most player participation in the closed tournament, was also awarded to Bayles.
Jess Hedley, Katrina Wardle, Murray Purvis, Melissa Taafe, Andrew Brown, Melissa Young, Maddie Timpano and James WoodcockSmith were thanked for umpiring during the season.
The marathon will be held on Friday night.
