PAKENHAM was well on top in senior and junior matches at the weekend.

A GRADE

Pakenham’s focus was on playing with determination and pressuring opponents at all times. Pakenham’s backing up all over the court consolidated the win in a game of great skill.
Scores: Pakenham 68 d Narre Warren 21.
Best: Michelle Webster.

B GRADE

Pakenham came out strongly, playing great netball, but became unsettled towards halftime. The players dug deep and worked hard, showing what they were capable of.
Scores: Pakenham 32 d Narre Warren 26.
Best: Tenielle Atwell, Jacqui Dwyer.

C GRADE

With a settled side, Pakenham had to fight hard for four quarters to establish itself and the final scores showed the outcome.
Scores: Pakenham 44 d Narre Warren 23.

15 AND UNDER

The defensive players pressured Narre Warren well all day, which enabled the Pakenham goalers to have four even scoring quarters. The midcourt had some great passages, which contributed to a great win.
Scores: Pakenham 46 d Narre Warren 2. Best: Nicole Wake, Maddie Smethurst.
13 AND UNDER
Strong goaling by Tahlia Groh and Emily Talbot set up a good lead at halftime. The midcourt movement was superb, led by Jye McManus in centre.
