Parting gift is something personal

IMMEDIATE past president of Inner Wheel Berwick Kay Rankin last week presented the Anglican Church Berwick pastoral group with a cheque for $1500.
Mrs Rankin told group members during a visit to the church that one of the Inner Wheel traditions was that the immediate past president was able to make a donation to a community group of her choice on leaving office. The money was raised during her year as president. This is one of those nice things that happen in our community.
